Cole Slaw
Ingredients
1 head cabbage, thinly sliced 1 onion, thinly sliced 1 green pepper, thinly sliced. Dressing: 1 cup sugar 1 cup vinegar 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. celery seed 1 tsp. salt 2/3 cup salad oil |
Directions:
Mix vegetables in a large bowl. Mix dressing ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil. Pour over cabbage mixture and mix well. Put in rerigerator and leave several hours. The longer it is kept, the better it is. Keep in crock, covered, in refrigerator. Arline Colls |
