Fudge Truffle Cheese Cake
Ingredients
Chocolate Crumb Crust: 1 1/2 cup vanilla wafer crumbs 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1/3 cup cocoa 1/3 cup melted margarine or butter Cake: 2 cup (12 oz.) Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips 3 8-oz. packages of cream cheese, softened 1 14-oz. Eagle brand condensed milk 4 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla |
Directions
Set oven to 300 degrees. Chocolate Crumb Crust: In medium bowl combine vanilla wafer crumbs, powdered sugar, cocoa and melted margarine or butter. Press firmly into bottom of a 9" spring form pan sprayed lightly with Pam. Cake: Melt chocolate chips in a heavy sausepan over very low heat, stiring constantly. The chips can also be melted in a double boiler. In a large bowl, beat cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in milk until smooth. Add melted chips. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Pour over chocolate crumb crust. Bake 1 hour and 5 minutes or until center is set. Cool. chill. Refrigerate leftovers. Lois Volotta |
