Marinated Cucumbers
Ingredients
1 1/4 cup wine vinegar 1 cup water 3 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. crushed dill weed 6 large cucumbers (3 1/2 lbs.), peeled and halved lengthwise, seeded and cut into half-inch slices. |
Directions:
Combine the vinegar, water, sugar and dill weed in a medium sized sauce pan. Bring marinade to boiling. Lower the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Marinate refrigerated overnight. To serve, place drained cucumbers on lettuce leaves. Teresa M. Prete |
