Scalloped Scallops
Ingredients
1 pint scallops 1/2 cup melted butter 1 cup cracker crumbs 1/2 cup bread crumbs salt and pepper 1 cup light cream |
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Wash and drain scallops thoroughly. Butter a 7" square casserole well. Add 1/2 of the melted butter to the cracker crumbs. In another bowl, add the remaining butter to the bread crumbs. Place the buttered bread crumbs in the bottom of the casserole. Add two layers of scallops. Cover with one layer of cracker crumbs. Repeat one layer of scallops and one layer of cracker crumbs. Lightly add salt and pepper. Pour cream over mixture. Bake for 25 minutes. Delicious but rich! Ginny Milne |
