Shrimp and Cheese Casserole
Ingredients
6 slices white bread 1 lb. prepared shrimp 1/2 lb. old english cheese 1/4 cup melted butter or margerine 1/2 tsp dry mustard 3 whole eggs 1 pint milk |
Directions
Break bread in pieces about the size of a quarter. Cut cheese into bite size pieces. Arrange shrimp, bread and cheese in several layers in a greased casserole. Pour melted butter over this mixture. Beat eggs, add mustard and salt to eggs, then add the milk. Mix together and pour this over the ingredients in the casserole. Let stand a minimum of 3 hours, preferably overnight in refrigerator, covered. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees uncovered. Thelma Wilson |
